His dam is Heart River Dakota Bandit, "Bandit" (see our female page for more info) and his sire is Heart River V Rahnhaus, "Tojo", 2003 Mid North Regional Field Trial Runner-Up and 2004 2nd Runner-Up. Boogie's "Grandfather" is Three Devils Hustler, aka "Waldo" #1 Male Wirehair Pointer in NSTRA in 1996, '97, '98, '99 and 2000.

Boogie is unusual in his color and markings, has medium furnishings and a thick coat. He weighs in at 65 pounds and stands about 27" at his shoulders. He is long and lean and runs like a deer. Boogie has a soft, lovable personality and is very easily disciplined when needed.

Boogie has an average range when hunting and checks in on a regular basis. He quarters nicely. He is stylish and steady on point, holding his head and tail high. He retrieves with energy and enthusiasm. He backs naturally.
