Koda is a female German Wirehair Pointer whelped on May 1, 2003, at Heart River Kennels. Her sire is Harry Sehr Klug, aka "Harry", and her dam is Heart River Ebony, aka "Fire". Koda's "Grandfather" is Three Devils Hustler, aka "Waldo"- #1 Male Wirehair Pointer in NSTRA in 1996, '97, '98, '99 and 2000.

Koda is larger in stature then our other females weighing in at 52 pounds and standing 26" high at the shoulders.  She has all the classic wirehair features, including the fixings and coarse coat.

Koda oozes personality.  She is eager to understand and please.  She is loving, out going, independent, and a very quick learner.  If she was a human, she would be the "class clown", but when it comes to birds, she is dead serious.

Koda loves to hunt the hard to get to spots and if there is water involved she loves it even more. She shows great intensity and endurance, is steady on point, carries her tail high, has a tremendous love of water, and is a natural backer.
