Occasionally we will have someone ask us for a reference, would you be willing to visit with another potential buyer regarding our kennel and/or your dog? yes

Prior to your purchase, while you were just “looking”, were you treated courteously, did we over sell you, were we able to answer your questions? Any other comments?
Purchased prior to looking - based on website, phone referral

After your purchase, did you feel comfortable in how the delivery of your puppy/dog was handled? Did you have all the information you needed regarding your puppy/dog? Any other comments?
W e picked up the dog.

If you contacted us because you had a concern, were you satisfied with the information and the way we handled your concerns? Did we follow-up with you when we needed to? Any other comments?
Yes.

Is this your first pointing dog? If it is, is it what you expected? If not your first pointing dog, how does he/she compare to other experiences and dogs you have had?
No, great for only a couple hunts. She was young for most of the first season so I only took her 4-5 times late in the season. She was better that other breeds at paying attention to where I was and what I was doing.

One of the things we try to do is to match up our dogs/puppies with the person we feel best suits them. What is your situation as far as being a breeder, do you have a kennel of dogs, is your dog a family dog? How do you feel about your match up? Has your dog fit into your environment and situation? Any other comments?
Maggie is a family/house dog and is our only dog. We had hoped to let her run in the fenced yard while we are at work, but she chews on everything so we had to get a run. We are still optimistic she will out grow this. She loves to be with/around people.

We spend a lot of time with our puppies/dogs and try to get to know them so we can relay that information to you as the new owner. Were we “right on” with our evaluation of your puppy/dog and what might be his/her strengths or weaknesses, or were we “way out to lunch” regarding your pup/dog? Please give us details.
Strengths - likes people, easy to train

Weaknesses - digger & chewer

You gave us pick of the litter, but we had a difficult time choosing.

After having your puppy/or dog delivered, were you satisfied with the health, physical condition, socialization and personality of your puppy/dog?

Yes

Did you have any concerns or surprises? Any other comments?
No

Have you sent your dog to a professional trainer, or are you training him/her yourself? If you used a trainer, what was your trainer’s evaluation of the puppy/dog? If you did the training, were you satisfied with the progress the pup/dog made or is making? Any other comments?
Training myself. Is good with basic commands, working on more.

Have you had your puppy/dog out hunting? To what extent? Were you satisfied with his/her instincts at his/her age? Any other comments?
answered earlier

Have you or do you intend to field trial your dog? If you have already done some trialing, have you had any placements, and if so what? How has your dog responded to this environment?
No field trials - purely family dog and a few hunts with us.

Personality wise, how would you rate you dog as far as getting along with people, children, other dogs? What is your dogs temperament? Does he/she adapt easily to new situations?
Gets along good with everybody, but gets overexcited around new people. Laid back except when kids are around & wants to play with the kids. Adapts well as we take her almost every where.
